Facilitating Sustainable Development for Canterbury

  • B.linc Workshop Lincoln University Campus Lincoln New Zealand (map)
Eventbrite.jpg

Environment Canterbury’s purpose is to facilitate sustainable development in the Canterbury region. Understanding how that translates to our community and what we can do to help support this is key.

Providing an update on their strategic priorities including freshwater management and indigenous biodiversity - particularly improving the health of our braided rivers and wetlands, Tim Davie shares how ECan can achieve progress by working closely with mana whenua, central and other local government agencies, businesses, industry sectors and community and volunteer groups to manage natural resources.

This event is a great opportunity to connect with ECan and share your focus, priorities and challenges, as well as to understand where they may be able to support you.

The B.linc VIBE event series is an opportunity to hear from one of the wider Lincoln precinct companies about their business and to touch base, reconnect and build connections across the precinct.
