The future of food, agriculture and tourism is changing as consumer trends, sustainability and climate change play an increasing role in defining this future. Lincoln University recognises the importance of these areas to core education and research areas and has created a number of Centres of Excellence to design and develop what a number of these futures might look like. The university has some core assets that make this possible and has allowed them to initiate a suite of centres of excellence that will be developed over the next three years - intersecting Agriculture, Food, Conservation, Environment, Tourism, Recreation and Māturanga Māori.
Join us to hear from the professors behind the centre sharing the vision and strategy, giving us a bit more information about what is underway, outcomes so far and how members of the Precinct might engage and support these.
